ARMStaffing is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a travel assignment in Purcell, Oklahoma. This 13-week engagement requires 40 hours per week with 8-hour day shifts.

You will work under the supervision of a licensed OT, provide rehabilitative interventions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. OTAs must have a COTA license and an active state license, with LTC/rehabilitation experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of OTA experience.
• Experience in Long Term Care (LTC) or Rehabilitation.
• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license is required.
• Active State Licensure/Registration when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Administer treatment interventions including ADL retraining, therapeutic exercises, and modalities.
• Assess patient progress and communicate findings to the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Document all clinical and regulatory required information accurately in the electronic documentation system.
• Provide consultation to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding cognitive and/or physical disorders.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, including patient care conferences and rehabilitation meetings.
• Supervise and support students under the guidance of the Occupational Therapist.
• Ensure adherence to NBCOT/AOTA and state practice acts and ethics during professional practice.
