Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of infection control practices.
• Participates in Quality Improvement activities.
• Monitors patients using the Quality Life Manual and assigns appropriate programs.
• Communicates patient changes to other departments (room changes, LOA, admissions, discharges).
• Provides family and patient education.
• Administers medications timely and per facility policy.
• Administers treatments timely and per facility policy.
• Transcribes and carries out physician orders as allowed by the Nurse Practice Act.
• Makes rounds with physicians as needed.
