Qualifications

• Must possess a TN Nursing License.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience required.
• Experience in Med/surg setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to patients and family members.
• Manage IVs, basic wound care, and surgical drain maintenance.
• Document all patient interactions and care accurately.

Job Opportunities

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - PCU - Neuro Med/Surg 3F

Shift: Nights / 7p-7a (12x3) 36 hours per week

Length: 13 weeks

2 weekends (4 shifts) per 4 week schedule

Requirements:

• TN License
• 2 Years Experience
• Med/surg experience
• Ability to prioritize care, multitask, start IV’s, basic wound care, maintenance of surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, & chest tubes
• BLS
• Certifications: Comprehensive Stroke, ACS Verified Level II Trauma Center, Certified Chest Pain Center
  
  

Other Details:

• Documentation system: Meditech
• Floating policy: Contract labor is first to float; go by rotation when there are multiple C/L staff scheduled
• Number of Beds : 20
• Patient Ratios : 6:1
• Type of equipment: IV Pumps, Telemetry, SCD’s, Continuous Pulse Ox Machines, Feeding Pumps, PCA, EKG machines, bladder scanner, iMobile communication technology
• Patient Experience requirements: Expected to provide attentive and compassionate care to patients/family members. Bedside shift report, ability to make personal connections with patients and include them/family members in their plan of care
