Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Radiology RN for a travel nursing assignment in Cape Girardeau, MO. The role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience and offers a 13-week engagement with 40 hours per week on day shifts.

The RN will start IVs, monitor vitals, administer medications, and support radiology procedures while maintaining patient comfort and safety. Travel experience is preferred; BLS/ACLS/PALS are required.)

We're looking for Radiology RNs for an immediate travel nurse opening in Cape Girardeau, MO. The right RN should have 1-2 years recent acute care experience.

1. Start or check peripheral IVs, access and assess infusaports, administer medications, monitor vital signs, suction patients, insert foleys, and help patients with their personal needs.
2. Inform the technologist or radiologist of any unusual patient needs.
3. Perform specialized nursing duties, such as administering IV sedation or analgesia during special procedures.
4. Closely monitor patients with cardiac/pulse oximeters.

Radiology Travel Nurses should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean and stoop without difficulty. RNs should be able to easily lift 20 pounds. Moving or lifting of patients may require lifting of up to 50 pounds at times. Radiology RNs may face hazards from exposure to chemicals and infectious diseases.

Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
