Travel PICU RN is needed for 13 weeks at a hospital in North Carolina. Shifts are from 7 am to 7 pm, with 3 shifts per week. Ideal candidates have PICU and peds CVICU skills/competencies. Required certifications include BCLS and PALS (ACLS preferred but not mandatory). Candidates must have at least two years of experience in a Level I trauma center, capable of caring for patients on mechanical ventilation and inotropic drips. Experience with broad PICU diagnoses, critically ill or injured pediatric patients aged 0-18, monitoring lines (arterial, central venous, Swan-Ganz), and Level I trauma procedures (intracranial pressure monitoring, bladder pressures, fluid warmer use, chest tubes, peritoneal dialysis, ECMO) is required. RN must wear black or white scrub pants with any color or pattern scrub top and jacket. This position offers great benefits and pay, and is located in a popular travel destination with plenty of activities and scenic views. This position won't be open long.
