An established industry player is seeking a dedicated PICU RN to join their Pediatric Intensive Care unit. This role involves providing critical care to children aged 0-18, working in a dynamic environment with varying patient ratios. Job Details
Position: PICU RN
Shift: Will work 3x12s, Nights, 7p-7a, holiday requirement if contract is during that period
Weekend REQ: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
Ratios: 1:1, 1:2, 1:3 - mixed unit with ICU and Stepdown patients so ratios vary
Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes
Years of experience REQ: 2 years of PICU experience
Accept 1st time travelers: yes
Experience Preferred: ECMO, CRRT
Job Requirements
License REQ: SC or Multi State/Compact RN license
Certs REQ: BLS, PALS (MUSC only accepts American Heart Association (AHA))
Schedule Information
Open to accommodating block schedule? Requires managers approval upon request. Dependent on unit's needs.
Local radius: 60 miles
Locals accepted: yes, on a case-by-case basis at 10% less than the posted bill rate.
RTO Restrictions: all RTO must be submitted at time of submission. Approval based off unit needs.
Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

The Pediatric Intensive Care unit is a 28-bed unit providing intensive and intermediate care to children ages 0-18 from across the state of South Carolina.

Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams.
