• Pay: $2227/week

MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission-certified agency, is looking for a qualified PCU / Step-down Nurse for a travel assignment with a top healthcare client.

Requirements:

• Active RN License
• Degree from an accredited nursing program
• BLS & ACLS Certifications
• At least 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care PCU / Step-down setting
• Additional requirements as determined by the client facility

Duties and Responsibilities:

PCU nurses care for patients requiring close monitoring and frequent assessments, but who are not unstable enough for ICU care. They monitor cardiac and other vital signs, detect changes, and intervene in emergencies. Many patients receive complex medications that may require titration based on vital signs.
