Progressive Care Unit (PCU) registered nurse (RN) position located in a healthcare facility. The RN will supervise ancillary staff and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care and facilitate patient discharge planning.

• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification prior to first shift. Valid ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification prior to first shift (CIRH only). Minimum of two (2) years of bedside clinical experience.


• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a progressive care or similar unit is highly desired.


• Additional Information: Performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission, develops individualized care plans, documents care and patient responses accurately and promptly, and participates in patient rehabilitation and education. Responsible for daily discharge planning and effective communication with care team members. Leads unit activities following orientation, delegates appropriately, and maintains safety and cost-effective care standards. Engages in ongoing professional development and team building activities to promote a positive work environment.
