• Number of Beds : 36
• Patient Ratios : 4-6:1
• Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : 1 unit secretary and 3-4 PCAs
• Type of equipment : Vitals machines, heart monitors, chest tubes, LVADs, dopplers, temporary pacers
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Scheduling requirements: 3 12-hour shifts, every other weekend
• Floating policy: Travelers float first but in turn with each other
• Patient Experience requirements: Hourly safety rounds, bedside shift report, sit and speak with patients about their care.
