• · Patient Ratios : 4-6:1
• · Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : 1 unit secretary and 3-4 PCAs
• · Type of equipment : Vitals machines, heart monitors, chest tubes, LVADs, dopplers, temporary pacers
• · Documentation system: Meditech
• · Scheduling requirements: 3 12-hour shifts, every other weekend
• · Floating policy: Travelers float first but in turn with each other
• · Patient Experience requirements: Hourly safety rounds, bedside shift report, sit and speak with patients about their care.
