Job Description & Requirements

• Duration: 13 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, nights
• Employment Type: Travel

Position: PACU RN (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit Registered Nurse)
Location: Boston, Massachusetts
License Requirement: Active Massachusetts (MA) RN License – Required

Experience Required:

• Minimum 2 years of recent PACU experience (Phase 1 recovery)
• Must have strong experience with complex surgical cases: Neuro, Thoracic, Vascular, and Ortho Spine
• Telemetry proficiency required: Must independently read and interpret rhythm strips and identify heart blocks
• Must pass a Telemetry test on Day 1 with a score of 84% or higher
• Pediatric PACU experience preferred

Certifications Required:

• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS

Preferred Certification:

• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)

Case Types Include:

• Trauma

• Average case volume: 30–60 cases/day
