Responsibilities

  • Provide care in Phase I and Phase II PACU.
  • Perform vasoactive drip titration for patients.
  • Respond to call requirements and float as necessary.

Rang Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Issaquah, Washington.

Location: Issaquah, WA

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift/Schedule: Day 4x10-Hour (08:00 - 18:30)

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week

Job Requirements: -

2 years inpatient PACU experience-general, ortho and neuro patients-vasoactive drip titration.

Patient Diagnoses:

Surgeries: hernia repair, lap appy, lap choley, colon resection, ent: tonsil/adenoids, tympanoplasty, nasal /septo plasty, gyn: hys etc/robotic, urology: prostate / robotic, cystectomy, etc; ortho: total - hip, knee, shoulder, spine: laminectomy, diskectomy,

Pediatric: BMT, circumcision, T & A, minor ortho, healthy 6 mos and older, Bariatric: gastric surgery.

Rotation between Phase I and Phase II PACU

19 pre/19 PACU

Endoscopy: elective, urgent, emergent, and ERCP with anesthesia

Cath/IR: pre/post op

Blood Patch PACU

On-Q pain catheter insertion / PACU.

Special Equipment:

Ceiling lifts

POCT

Sapphire Pumps - epidurals

Hospira Pumps - PCA

PLUM pumps - IV

Space Lab Monitors

Call required: yes, 3 nights/month

Float: yes, Pre/Post op and PACU

Weekend and holiday call are optional

Certifications/Licenses: ACLS, BLS, PALS

Charting System:Required Epic
