HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA seeks a travel nurse RN in the PACU - Post Anesthesia Care unit at Doctors Hospital of Augusta in Augusta, GA. This travel assignment runs for 13 weeks with 36 hours per week, 12-hour day shifts. You will provide specialized post-anesthesia care and monitor patient recovery in a high-volume hospital setting.

Candidates should have 1–2 years in PACU and hold ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications. ICU/ER background is a plus, and Meditech experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recoveries and post-anesthesia care.

General Information

Unit Specifics:

• Number of Beds : 15, with 9 utilized as Recovery bays (remaining 6 function as Burn inpatient pre-op)
• Patient Ratios : 1:2
• Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : 7 staff RNs plus Charge Nurse, 1-2 patient transporters in department during day shift
• Type of equipment:
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Scheduling requirements: 3 12’s or 4 10’s with call (2/month)
• Floating policy: Float between Burn PACU and Main PACU

Patient Experience requirements:
