Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care
• Discipline: RN
• Duration: 13 weeks
• 40 hours per week
• Shift: 10 hours, days
• Employment Type: Travel

Traveler shall be scheduled in accordance with facility policy and is expected to work every other weekend and Holidays in rotation with Hospital employees.

This is for a pre/post position, not OR Circulator

Candidates are required to have Pre-op and Post-op experience to be considered

1+ experience acceptable

Number of Beds : 14

· Patient Ratios : 2-3:1 (Post-op) ; 1-2 : 1 (Pre-op) (Based on patient acuity)

· Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : 1 Full Time PCT

· Type of equipment : Bladder scanner, Vein Finder, EKG machine

· Documentation system: Meditech

· Scheduling requirements:7:30AM - 6:00PM w/ On-Call

· Floating policy: Float within Surgical Services PRN: Otherwise, per facility policy.

· Patient Experience requirements: AIDET

Hospital Specifics-

· Certifications: Level 3 Trauma Center

ACLS BLS and PALS required
