Qualifications

• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications; two or more years of relevant experience; must be able to care for all ages, including pediatric patients, and manage ventilator patients.
• Experience handling ICU-level recovery and ventilation equipment (ventilators, arterial lines, chest tubes) is preferred.
• Must maintain certifications prior to the start date and be able to work 12-hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care to patients recovering from anesthesia in PACU across a diverse patient population.
• Manage ventilator care and monitor glucose levels.
• Assist with service lines including neuro, ortho, and urology; handle ICU-level recovery as needed.
• Float rotation may be required (Preop/PACU).

Job Details

• Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 11/01/2026 and ending 01/31/2027.
• Required Qualifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications; two or more years of relevant experience; must be able to care for all ages, including pediatric patients, and manage ventilator patients.
• Preferred Qualifications: Ability to handle ICU level patient recovery and beds, with experience in ventilator, arterial line, Foley, chest tubes, pediatric patients (1:1), and assistance with blocks.
• Additional notes: Will discuss patient types (ICU, infants, elderly, etc.) during interview.
• Equipment used includes ventilators, glucose monitors, bladder scanners, Baxter IV pumps, SCDs, and Wound Vacs.
• Float: Preop/PACU float rotation may be required.
• Submission requires proper certifications prior to the start date.
