Job Summary

Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Hobbs, New Mexico. This position involves providing specialized perioperative nursing care in a short‑term acute care facility. The role requires candidates to bring their license on the first day. The schedule is an 8‑hour shift, with 40 hours per week, and candidates must be flexible to work 1–2 weekdays and 1–2 weekends per month, including holiday coverage.

• Required Qualifications: Valid compact nursing license in hand at submission; at least 2 years of OR experience; certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS; experience with administration of blood and blood products, ambulatory surgery, amputations, ACL reconstruction, appendectomy, arthroscopy, tubal ligation, C‑sections, cardiac monitoring, and other listed procedures; experience with EMR (Epic).
• Additional Qualifications: Ability to float between sister facilities; must be able to work 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day). Provide response about prior work at a Providence facility, including location and dates worked.
• References: Two references covering 1 year (or 6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years required.
• On‑Call & Weekend Requirements: 1–2 days during weekdays and weekends per month; weekend shifts not mandatory but may be scheduled.
• Experience: 0 years minimum (role specific, with 2 years preferred).
