Job summary

Jackson Nurse Professionals is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Des Moines, Iowa. This assignment runs 13 weeks at 36 hours per week, with 12-hour day shifts and weekend call coverage possible.

Traveler may float across campuses including Iowa Methodist MC, Iowa Lutheran & Iowa Methodist. Required is an Active RN license with OR experience; travel nurses must be able to scrub or circulate.

Travel*No locals withiin 50mi*Average 35-50 cases per day. Expectation for turnovers is less than 20 minutes.Special equipment - 3 Davinci robots. Use Stealth technology for Neuro navigation and use primarily Synthes or Stryker for ortho trauma. We dont do many ortho joints.How many suites - 16 ORs. Run from 12-14 routinely. As a level 1 trauma center, we reserve space for traumas.Service lines - Cardiac/ PV, Neuro, ortho (primarily trauma), robotics, gyn, uro, general, pediatrics, transplants. We do a small volume of ENT and plastic procedures.Scrub or Circulate - both would be preferred.Call for weekends is from end of shift on Friday until 0630am Monday.Traveler may be required to float across all campuses; Iowa Methodist MC, Iowa Lutheran & Iowa Methodist
