Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Deliver nursing care and demonstrate clinical skills in the perioperative setting.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation respecting HIPAA guidelines.
• Promote patient- and family-centered care within the care team.
• Ensure patient safety using safe transfer techniques and NP safety goals.
• Provide individualized perioperative nursing care and assess procedural reactions.
• Support the surgical team and adjust care as conditions change.
• Engage patients and families in pre- and post-operative education.
• Assist with timely completion of pre-admission testing orders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough and accurate patient assessments before, during, and after surgical procedures.


• Deliver competent and appropriate nursing care, demonstrating proficiency in clinical skills and emergency procedures.


• Maintain complete and accurate patient documentation, ensuring adherence to guidelines and HIPAA standards.


• Promote patient and family-centered care, fostering a cooperative environment within the patient care team.


• Ensure patient safety by following National Patient Safety Goals and utilizing safe transfer techniques.


• Provide individualized patient care, particularly in the perioperative setting, assessing reactions and understanding of procedures.


• Contribute to the surgical team, prioritizing patient care based on needs and condition changes.


• Engage patients and families in educational activities, performing pre-operative and post-operative assessments.
