Job Title: Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Oncology
Location: Seattle, WA (On-site)

Work Hours: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (08:00 - 16:30)

Previous employment at any Providence-affiliated facility requires a minimum 3-month separation to qualify for a travel position. Swedish facilities honor active compact licenses.

Requirements include: 2 years of experience (Chemo certification preferred). The unit does not accept first-time travelers. Average daily census: 100. Patients per day: 16. Call required: Yes. Float required: Yes (between clinics). No weekend or holiday shifts.

Patient diagnoses include outpatient medical oncology with solid tumors and palliative care, with no infusions administered.

Required procedures and skills include: OCN certification (preferred), reviewing treatment plans, Epic Beacon, ambulatory experience, telephone triage, pharmacy communication, distress screening. Port access is preferred.

Licenses and certifications: OCN (preferred), BLS, Chemo (ONS/ONCC), ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy (required).

Scrubs: Any color, clean.
