Catapult Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Oncology for a travel nursing job in Wausau, Wisconsin.

Travel RN – Oncology Unit

Location: Aspirus Wausau Hospital, Wausau, WI
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: June 2, 2025
End Date: August 30, 2025
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts, variable Days/PMs/Nights)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Weekend/Holiday Rotation: Every other weekend and holiday
Unit: MedSurg Oncology – mix of surgical and medical oncology patients

Requirements:
  • Active WI RN license
  • BLS certification
  • Chemo certification required
  • 2+ years of RN experience (1+ year on a Med-Surg Oncology unit preferred)
  • Oncology experience required
  • Epic EMR experience preferred (must have experience with electronic charting if no Epic)
Additional Details:
  • Will float to other units as needed (in 4-hour blocks, before staff RNs)
  • No on-call or call-back required
  • Equipment: Epic EMR, Rovers for med scanning, Alaris pumps
  • Patient Ratios:
    • Days/PMs: 4:1–5:1
    • Nights: Typically 5:1 (can go up to 7:1, not common)
    • CNAs and techs available on all shifts
  • Scrub color: Any color
  • Orientation: 8 hours (GSA hours not guaranteed during orientation week)
  • Education: Associate degree required, BSN preferred
