Responsibilities include monitoring post-operative patients' levels of consciousness during recovery from anesthesia, measuring and recording patients' vital signs, closely observing patients for signs of side effects of anesthesia medication, and treating pain, nausea, and other post-operative symptoms of anesthesia.
