• Required Qualifications:
  • Active Ohio or Ohio Nurse Compact (RN) license
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

  • Active NIHSS certification
  • 2+ years of experience
  • Proficiency with cardiac medications (Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Heparin, Cardine, Dobutamine, Lasix, Bumex) including titration and administration
  • Telemetry competency
  • Strong critical thinking
  • Ability to recognize signs of stroke and patient status changes
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience specifically in Medical Surgical with Telemetry
• Additional Information:
  • Must be competent with cardiac medications, telemetry, heart rhythms, and possess strong communication skills.
  • Must be able to recognize and intervene in changes in patient conditions, including signs of stroke.
  • Submission should include a current skills checklist pertinent to the specialty and verification of active Ohio/OH or Compact RN license.
