Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Neuro Surgical

Shift: Nights / 6:30p-7a, 12x3, 36hrs per week (will accept 48s upon request), EOH

Length: 13 weeks

Weekend/Holiday Requirement: 3 weekends out of every 6 week schedule

Requirements

• IN RN or Compact License
• Minimum 2 years of strong Neuro experience required
• 1 travel assignment required
• Trauma level II experience required
• Skillset: NIHSS/dysphagia screen/strong Neuro assessements, basic tele interpretation, strict I's & O's/straight cath/Foleys, intitate/titrate heparin gtts., blood/blood product administration/venipuncture/blood cultures, NG tubes, indwelling drain managemen, stable gtts. (i.e. Protonix, Lasic, etc.)
• AHA BLS

• NIHSS
• Recent EPIC experience required

• First to float within skillset
• Unit Information: 37 beds. Ratio: Days 1:5-6; NOCs 1:5-7; CN takes partial patient assignment
• Patient Population: Neuro and Neuro-Surgical patients – CVAs, elective back/neck surgeries, post-op cranis, cerebral angiogram. General medical and psych
• Covid-19 Vaccine Not Required -- Subject to change
• No local candidates (40 mile radius rule)
• Scrub Colors: Navy blue scrubs - No competing health systems or agency logos
