Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Marion, Illinois. This 13-week assignment requires a 36-hour work week with 12-hour day shifts on a 36-bed Med/Surg/Ortho unit, rotating as needed and compliant with EPIC charting.

Active IL RN license (or temporary IL license) and AHA BLS are required. Weekend/Holiday commitments exist and local candidates are not considered due to the 40-mile rule.

Qualifications

• Active IL RN License (or active temp IL License) is required.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years Med/Surg experience.
• EPIC charting experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Med/Surg RN care on a 36-bed unit in Marion, IL.
• Work 12-hour day shifts as part of a travel assignment.
• Maintain professional standards and documentation per EPIC.
• Float to ED/ICU only for medical holds as needed.

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Marion, Illinois.

Float Requirements: to ED/ICU to take care of Medical holds only

On Call/Call Back Requirements: no

Weekend/Holiday Requirements: every other weekend/ holidays as needed.

Charting Experience Required: EPIC required

Required Skillset: confident, independent RN

Unit Information: 36 bed med/surg/ortho unit. Ratios are 1:5 with a CNA, but also can be 1:4 primary care in the event a CNA calls in or staffing issues
