Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Anna, Illinois. This assignment features a 13-week duration, 36 hours per week, and 12-hour night shifts on a 36-bed Med/Surg unit.

Applicants must hold an Illinois RN license with AHA BLS, have at least 2 years Med/Surg experience, and be able to EPIC chart. No local candidates within 40 miles; travel only.

Qualifications

• Active IL RN license (no pending licenses or temps).
• AHA BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years Med/Surg experience.
• EPIC charting experience required.

Responsibilities

• Care for Med/Surg patients on a 36-bed unit.
• Work 12-hour night shifts.
• Travel assignment for 13 weeks.
• Float to ED/ICU for medical holds only.
• Chart in EPIC.

On Call/Call Back Requirements: no

Weekend/Holiday Requirements: every other weekend/ holidays as needed

Charting Experience Required: EPIC required

Required Skillset: confident, independent RN

Unit Information: 36 bed med/surg/ortho unit. Ratios are 1:5 with a CNA, but also can be 1:4 primary care in the event a CNA calls in or staffing issues. Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, social candidates
