Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $2,074 per week at Health St Elizabeth

Summary:

The position is for a Travel Nurse RN specializing in Med / Surg with a guaranteed 36 hours per week. Candidates must have at least one year of unit experience and a BLS certification. The role involves working night shifts in a Nebraska / Iowa healthcare system, with considerations for weekend and holiday requirements.

• A large healthcare system in Nebraska / Iowa is looking for a Night Med / Surg RN, with 36 hours guaranteed.
• Minimum of 1 year of unit experience required.

Job Requirements:

• 1 year of unit experience.
• BLS certification required.

Schedule Information:

• Contract duration: 13 weeks.
• Shifts: 06:30-19:00, 18:30-07:00.
• Holiday requirement: As needed.
• No call or standby requirement.
• Floating requirements: PCU or Burn units.

Unit Specific Information:

• Scrub color/dress code: Navy blue.
• Common diagnoses/patient types: Medical, surgical, and orthopedics.
• Charge nurse on each shift, does not take assignments.
• RT available 24 hours on the floor.
• Tele on the floor with a centralized Tele station.
• Nurse aides/patient care techs on this unit with a ratio of 1:10-12.
• First week is classroom training, followed by 2-12 hour shifts on the floor.
• Radius rule: 50 miles; candidates may not be full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit.
