Job Details

Title: RN - Medical-Surgical

Location: Evansville, IN (ONSITE)

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Working Hours: 6:30PM - 7:00AM

Total Weekly Hours: 36 hours

Observation MS RN - Nights - Deaconess Midtown (AUTO OFFER)

NO LOCAL CANDIDATES (40 MILE RADIUS RULE)

Start: 6/16, with bi-weekly orientation

Guaranteed Hours: 36 (may accept 48 upon request)

Shift Requirement: 12hr Nights 6:30-7

Float Requirement: First within skillset; potential to float to Deaconess Newburgh (IN) & Deaconess Henderson (KY). 2 HR notice for cross-campus float. Mid-shift float within same campus.

On Call/Call Back: N/A

Weekend/Holiday: Three weekends out of six, every other holiday

Certifications: Current active compact license, AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIHSS

Experience: Minimum 2 years in Med/Surg, 1 travel assignment, trauma level II experience

Charting: Recent EPIC experience required

Patient Population: Cardiac, CVA/TIA, hypotensive, post surgical, AKI, detox/CIWA

Skills: Tele/12-lead EKG, cardiac cath recovery, post-surgical, NIHSS/Neuro assessment, titrate drips, drain management, tracheostomy care, chest tubes, blood admin. Strong assessment and critical thinking skills required.

Unit Info: 19 beds, ratios vary, welcoming to travelers, experienced management
