American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Med/Surg unit in Evansville, Indiana. This 13-week assignment features 12-hour day shifts and a 36-hour work week, with travel-specific benefits and tax-free stipends.

The ideal candidate holds an IN or compact RN license, BLS, and at least 1 year of RN experience in Med/Surg. Employment is travel-based with licensing reimbursement and 24/7 recruiter support.

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Ortho Neuro unit with an IN or compact RN license and recent BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 16-bed Med/Surg Ortho Neuro unit within a hospital setting
• Patient population includes orthopedic and neurological cases
• Typical patient ratio is 1:6-8
• Day shift position, working from 06:45 to 19:15
• Local candidates may be considered but will receive a reduced rate due to facility radius rules
• COVID-19 vaccination is no longer required
• Travelers are encouraged to discuss contract extensions with their managers 45 days before end of assignment
• All positions are auto offer
• Two professional references and a copy of driver’s license are required for consideration
• Holiday and weekend coverage may be required based on unit needs
