Position requires TN RN/LPN licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and 2+ years Med/Surg experience. Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours weekly, travel employment. EHR Medhost, potential float to other units.

Qualifications

• Valid RN or LPN license in Tennessee.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required.
• 2+ years Med/Surg experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care on a Medical/Surgical unit.
• Coordinate patient care with the healthcare team.

Job Summary:

Medical Surgical Nurse (RN/LPN) Pulaski, Tennessee. This position involves providing high-quality nursing care on a Medical/Surgical unit within a regional healthcare facility. The role requires providing patient care to geriatric and adult populations, with an emphasis on professionalism and clinical competence in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications:

Valid licensure to work as an RN or LPN in Tennessee, BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications, 2+ years of Med/Surg experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with common diagnoses and treatments on a Medical/Surgical floor.

Float:

Float rotation may be required to medical detox, ICU, OB, or ER, including low-level medsurg overflow patients with a ratio of 1:3.

Additional Information:

The unit comprises 19 beds with patient ratios of 1:5. Equipment includes Welch Allyn vital sign machines, Masimo bedside monitors, CareView, telemetry, Sara Stedy, and ARJO lifts. The Electronic Health Record system used is Medhost.
