BronxCare Health System is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager for our Adult-Inpatient Psychiatric Unit, 8 Franklin. The unit has 27 beds, serving patients with diagnoses including Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, Dual Diagnosis, Autism Spectrum, and Personality Disorders. The model of care is multidisciplinary, combining pharmacotherapy and psychotherapy. The ideal candidate will oversee the unit, ensuring quality care, staff development, and evidence-based practice.

Responsibilities
  • Promote the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
  • Assess patient care requirements and make rounds.
  • Develop and implement staffing plans based on acuity and census.
  • Serve as a resource for clinical problem-solving.
  • Respond to emergencies and assist staff as needed.
  • Identify and solve administrative and operational problems.
  • Collaborate with staff to ensure quality care and operational efficiency.
Requirements
  • New York State RN License and Registration
  • BSN required, MSN preferred
  • BLS certification from American Heart Association
