Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides quality patient care by performing treatments and procedures according to established protocols.
• Observes patients and reports adverse reactions to medication or treatment.
• Administers specified medications as allowed by policy and licensure.
• Responds promptly to patient requests and reports significant observations to the RN.
• Follows the patient's care plan, delivering care safely within standards and guidelines.
• Participates in planning patient care and provides input under the supervision of the RN.
• Identifies emergencies, initiates nursing measures, and seeks assistance as needed.
• Instructs patients in self-care and documents care provided.
