Responsibilities

• Provide care for 5-6 patients
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with multiple admissions and discharges
• Monitor and administer medications (oral, subcutaneous, IV)
• Educate patients and families about procedures and managing illnesses/injuries
• Manage specialized equipment and interpret telemetry readings
• Care for patients with pulmonary HTN, respiratory failure, COPD, CHF, and A-Fib
• Use electronic equipment to monitor vital signs
• Start IVs, draw blood, and manage patient care comprehensively
