Job Description and Requirements

IU Health is now offering charge pay, which is a $3.00 bill rate bump per hour.

Shift Requirements: 3x12's or 4x12's.

Additional Information:

  • First Time Travelers NOT Accepted.
  • Floating Requirements: May float to Methodist Hospital ED. Will not take primary assignment but will provide OB-specific care alongside a primary RN. On the first shift at Methodist, the nurse is asked to arrive 30 minutes early for a quick orientation to the unit and supplies.

Important Policy Update (Effective 11/30/24):

  • IU Health will not allow IN RNs to work at their facilities, with exceptions listed below.
  • The last day for IN RNs to start a new contract is 9/9/24, allowing them to finish existing contracts by 11/30/24.

Exceptions:

  • Periop / OR RN’s, Allied, and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. IN travelers in these categories are allowed to work past the deadline. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS.

  • Valid Driver’s License or Passport accepted; must be a clear copy.
  • AHA certifications only; RQI is acceptable. Required for all candidates.
