American Traveler is seeking a skilled RN for Labor & Delivery in Murfreesboro, TN. TN license (or compact) and 1 year in L&D required. 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours weekly, travel assignment for 13 weeks.

Requires BLS, ACLS, NRP and Cerner EMR experience; active Tennessee license and Nursys verification within 30 days of start. Role includes float to postpartum as needed and COVID vaccination is not required.

• Shift is 18:30 to 07:00; travelers may float to postpartum.

American Traveler is seeking a skilled RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring a TN or compact RN license and 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit with 14 beds, 2 triage beds, 4 recovery bays, 3 ORs, and 3 labor tubs
• Covers Antepartum, Labor & Delivery, Circulating in OR for C-sections, and Triage (after training)
• Patient ratios: 1:2 labor (1:1 for glucostabilizer, mag, pit), 1:3 antepartum, 1:2-3 triage, 1:1 OR circulator, 1:7 postpartum
• Uses Cerner EMR with Fetelink Charting System; EMR experience preferred
• Shift is 18:30 to 07:00
• Travelers will float to postpartum as needed
• Provide care across labor, delivery, antepartum, triage, circulating for C-sections, and postpartum settings
• Team includes laborists and anesthesia 24/7; family/medicine residents present for triage; no midwives currently
• Floating to postpartum is expected for this role
• Covid vaccination is not required
• Dress code and scrub color not specified in the description
• Local candidates are accepted but may be offered a reduced rate based on location radius

Requirements

• Active RN license in Tennessee or Compact state, current and in good standing
