Talent4Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Detroit, Michigan.

Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty : Labor and Delivery
• Duration : 13 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• Shift : 12 hours, nights
• Employment Type : Travel

Duties :

• Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
• Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
• Effectively communicates pertinent patient / family information to health care team.
• Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

Skills :

• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the assigned unit / department.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Education :

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.

Requirements :

• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• Must have NRP and BLS
• Experience in labor and delivery
• Experience with high risk
• Ability to circulate operating room for c - section
• Nurse to patient Ratio : 1 : 1 (Possibly 1 : 2)
• Observation patients or early labor / postpartum
• Schedule - 3 Nights a week (7pm-730am)
