Job Summary:
The Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is based in a healthcare facility offering specialized patient care. This role involves working Night shifts, with assignments scheduled to start on 10/05/2026. The RN will provide comprehensive care for a diverse patient population, including neuro, cardiovascular, and medical-surgical patients, often at acuity levels requiring high skill and judgment. Orientation occurs every other Monday, and travel experience is required for all Centra positions.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, with a minimum of 48 hours per week. Assignments end on 02/20/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Valid VA or Compact license, active during start date; a minimum of 2 years of work history with explanations for all work gaps over 90 days; experience with Cerner Electronic Medical Record System preferred; charge responsibility experience may be required, with appropriate pay differential and training; candidate must have worked in a similar acuity level setting (medical-surgical, telemetry, cardiac IMCU, neuro, CVA).
• Preferred Qualifications: Charge nurse experience.
• Additional Information: Prior travel experience is required; orientation occurs every other Monday; travel assignment includes a preference to work at least one major holiday (Christmas Day and/or New Years Day); up to 20-week assignments available to assist with staffing needs during the holiday season; the unit may require weekend work, though block schedules are no longer available; the client can cancel up to 36 hours prior to an assignment due to census; candidate should be comfortable working with students and new hires, contributing to a supportive team environment.
