Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nurse opportunity located in Las Vegas. This position involves providing specialized critical care for patients in a 36-bed ICU setting, utilizing advanced equipment and procedures. The role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, with scheduled shifts during the day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, two years of ICU experience, current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications, and basic proficiency with ventilators, high-flow oxygen, Bipap, Cpap, and IV medications such as Levophed, Epinephrine, Insulin, Neo-synephrine, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Propofol, Precedex, fentanyl, versed, Amiodarone, Lidocaine, and paralytics.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with TTM (Targeted Temperature Management), hemodynamics monitoring, PA (Pulmonary Artery) catheterization, and performing procedures like intubation, chest tube insertion, bronchoscopy, EGD, colonoscopy, wound debridement, and line insertions.
• Additional Information: The unit emphasizes patient safety and utilizes state-of-the-art equipment, including ventilators, Art Sun, CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy) machines, IV med pumps, SCD (Sequential Compression Device) machines, cooling blankets, and glucometers. The team values experienced staff with a passion for critical care medicine and offers a supportive environment for professional growth.
