You’ll care for critically ill patients, manage ventilators and arterial lines, and float to units as needed. Requires ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and at least 2 years ICU experience; NIHSS stroke education annually.

Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Medical professional position available in a high-acuity, fast-paced healthcare facility. This role involves caring for critically ill patients with complex medical conditions, including respiratory failure, multisystem organ failure, and post-procedural care. The position offers an opportunity to work in a Level II Trauma Center environment, providing advanced critical care and participating in essential procedures.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week, starting 10/12/2026 and ending on 01/11/2027.
• Required Qualifications: 2 years of ICU experience, valid state license (compact license accepted), ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications, familiarity with epic charting system, experience with arterial line management, ventilator management, bedside procedures like chest tube insertions, and stroke-specific care.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with high-acuity units, trauma level II experience, and ability to float between units if required.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and two hours of stroke-specific education annually.
• Additional Information: Candidate must be prepared to work weekends, perform patient assessments, manage complex respiratory and cardiovascular conditions, and participate in emergency procedures such as rapid sequence intubation and code blue responses.
