Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Critical Care Float Pool ICU position requiring MA licensure and Level 1 trauma experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Critical Care Float Pool of a hospital setting
• Patient population includes ICU and Medical ICU cases
• 12-hour rotating shifts covering both days and nights
• Required to work every third weekend
• Floating among critical care units is required
• Weekly orientation sessions provided, typically beginning each Monday except holidays
• Pass/fail Tele/ECG and medication testing may be required
• A six-month break is required for all previous employees before returning to any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility
• No local candidates accepted; candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Parking costs may be up to $43 per day

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required at time of consideration
• Current AHA CPR and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience in a Level 1 trauma facility required
• Must be willing and able to float to critical care units as needed
