The role requires flexibility, experience with advanced ventilator equipment, and the ability to float between units as needed.

Job Details

• Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification, a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy), ventilator management, LVAD, Impella, IABP devices, and telemetry monitoring.
• Additional Information: Candidates must be open to floating, with a successful background working in busy hospital environments for at least 3 years, with previous travel experience preferred. The unit accommodates high-acuity patients, including those with heart transplants, LVAD, and valve surgeries. Expertise in titrating vasoactive drips and managing advanced respiratory equipment is essential. The unit operates in an intensivist model, with 24/7 RT (Respiratory Therapy) coverage, and employs electronic charting via EPIC. The role involves a total of 4 shifts per assignment if duration exceeds 13 weeks, or 3 shifts for shorter assignments, with a rotation requirement of 6 weekend shifts every 6 weeks.
