Travel Nurse RN - ICU/Critical Care in Presque Isle, ME

GQR Healthcare is looking for a Travel Nurse RN - ICU/Critical Care in Presque Isle, ME.
Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse • Night Shift
Location: Ellsworth, ME
We're seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for night shifts in a mixed acuity unit.

Responsibilities:

  1. Care for diverse patient types including those with Vents, Sepsis, PNA, DKA, Detox, CHF, COPD exacerbation, and surgical complications.
  2. Occasionally care for pediatric post-surgery patients.
  3. Manage patient ratios of 1:3, based on acuity.

Qualifications:

  1. 2 years of nursing experience, with 1 year in ICU.
  2. Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS.
  3. Willingness to act as Charge RN.
  4. Proficiency in handling medical equipment and managing insulin and cardiac gtts.
  5. Ability to read and interpret strips for ICU and MSU.

Support on the Unit:

  1. Charge nurse, RT, and Hospitalist available 24/7.
  2. Centralized Tele monitoring tech.

Additional Information:

  1. Charting System: Cerner.
  2. May float to Med Surg or ED as needed.
  3. Weekend rotation: Every other; no call required.
  4. Scrub Color: Any professional color.
  5. Free Parking available.
