Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Hospice for a travel nursing job in Brewer, Maine. The assignment runs for 26 weeks, 40 hours per week, with days shift and a 9-hour schedule. You will work in the Hospice unit - South Portland, serving diverse patient diagnoses and driving between patient homes.

Active ME nursing license and BLS are required, plus a valid driver’s license and own vehicle for home visits. This travel role includes benefits and weekly pay through TotalMed RN.

• MANAGER INTERVIEWSExperience Required: 1 year. Nursing skill set to care for the common diagnosis listed belowCerts Required: BLS. driver’s license and must use own vehicle to drive from patient home to patient home. ME license.
• Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:Oncology diagnosis, Dementia/Alzheimer’s, end stage CHF/COPD, end stage neurological conditions (ALS, MS, Parkinson’s)
• Patient Ratios: Case Manager averages 15 to 20 patients
• Floating: If South Portland Territory Census is low may ask traveler to support other agency locations, if census allows.

Scrub Color: Business casual or scrubs. No certain color requirement.

Parking: N/A - assignment is Home Health, traveler will be driving from patient home to patient home. There is onsite parking at the office location when stopping in for meetings and picking up supplies
