Required Qualifications:

• Valid RN license per state regulations
• BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Preferred Qualifications:

Summary:

A Hospice RN provides compassionate, end-of-life care, focusing on comfort, pain management, and emotional support. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, care coordination, family education, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

Essential Work Functions:

• Assess patient needs and develop care plans
• Administer pain management and treatments
• Educate and support families and caregivers
• Monitor patient condition and adjust care accordingly
• Coordinate with healthcare team members
• Document care activities accurately
• Follow safety protocols and regulations
• Provide emotional support to patients and families
