Cross Country Nurses in Santa Fe, NM is seeking a travel RN Float to cover 13-week assignments across Medical-Surgical, PCU, ICU, ED and more. This full-time travel role requires 36 hours weekly on 12-hour day shifts, with TNCC, CPI, NIH, BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications and 2+ years of RN experience.

Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Float Position in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This full-time role involves floating to various units such as Medical-Surgical, Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Intermediate Care Unit (IRU), Behavioral Health Unit (BHU), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and Emergency Department (ED). The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering quality patient care across diverse settings, demonstrating clinical proficiency and promoting safety and efficiency in patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Days, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current New Mexico Registered Nurse license or current Compact state license; TNCC Certification; CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) Certification; NIH (National Institute of Health) Certification; BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification from AHA (American Heart Association); ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certification from AHA; PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) Certification from AHA; at least 2 years of related experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications may be required based on units where floated.
• Additional Information: The nurse will obtain and record initial assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and coordinate patient education and discharge planning. Responsibilities include performing Point of Care testing, delegating tasks, and participating in team activities to promote a positive work environment and high-quality patient care.
