**Details**

+ $1,592-$2,492 Weekly Rate

+ Department: Associate Travel Program - Emergency Room

+ Schedule: Multiple shifts available, 36 hours per week

+ Location: Local and national travel options available depending on need

+ Hospital: Multiple Ascension acute care hospitals

This position is a permanent, full-time role consisting of 13-week travel assignments. It is not a short-term or temporary contract. Rates may vary by location and specialty.

**Responsibilities**

  • Provide direct nursing care according to established policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
  • Serve as a primary coordinator for multidisciplinary patient care.
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
  • Assess and coordinate discharge planning needs with healthcare team members.

**Requirements**

  • Licensure / Certification / Registration:
    • Advanced Life Support (ALS) required prior to hire or transfer date.
    • BLS Provider certification required prior to hire or transfer date.
    • Registered Nurse (RN) license required prior to start; must have a compact or state-specific RN license relevant to the assignment location.
    • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred.
  • Education:
    • Diploma from an accredited nursing school required.
  • Work Experience:
    • Minimum of one year RN experience in an acute care setting required.

**Additional Preferences**

  • Recent (within one year) RN experience in Emergency Room strongly preferred.
  • Local and national travel options available; candidates may be stipend eligible for sites over 50 miles from their residence. Contact Recruitment for details.
