Talent4Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Electrophysiology Lab for a travel nursing job in Olathe, Kansas.

Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty: Electrophysiology Lab

• Shift: 10 hours, days
• Employment Type: Travel
• Assist physicians during electrophysiology procedures such as EP studies, ablations, and pacemaker/ICD implants.
• Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after procedures for any changes in condition.
• Administer medications, sedation, and IV therapy as prescribed and monitor for reactions.
• Prepare the EP lab with required sterile instruments, equipment, and medications.
• Interpret and monitor cardiac rhythms and hemodynamic data throughout procedures.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, medications, and procedural details.
• Provide patient education regarding procedures, recovery, and home care instructions.
• Ensure a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with electrophysiologists, techs, and other team members for coordinated patient care.
• Respond promptly to complications or emergencies such as arrhythmias or code situations.
• Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of EP equipment and supplies.
• Comply with hospital policies, safety standards, and HIPAA regulations.
• Maintain current certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and other lab-specific training.
