Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department | Night Shift

  • Shift Type : Nights (3x12-hour shifts)
  • Shift Times : 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM
  • Weekend Requirements : Every other weekend
  • Holiday Requirements : Rotation as necessary

Job Description :

Baltimore’s Emergency Department is seeking an experienced ER RN for night shifts in a high-volume setting . The unit sees an average of 115 visits per day and maintains a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1 : 4 . Responsibilities include triage, IV starts, phlebotomy, emergency medication administration, cardiac monitoring, and dysrhythmia interpretation .

Submission Requirements :

  • Minimum Experience : 2 years of ER nursing experience – REQUIRED
  • Previous Charge Experience – REQUIRED
  • Preceptor Experience – REQUIRED
  • Certifications :

ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS – REQUIRED

  • CPI, MAB, TNCC – Preferred
  • Skills & Qualifications :

IV Therapy / Phlebotomy

  • Emergency Medications & Continuous IV Sedation (Preferred)
  • Triage (Preferred)
  • Cerner Charting System (Preferred)

Facility & Department Details :

  • Unit Beds : 27
  • Daily Census : 115 visits / day
  • Observed Holidays : Must work entire night shift before the holiday to qualify for holiday pay
  • Scrub Color : Navy Blue (scrubs not provided)
  • Flu Vaccine : Required (No Exemptions)

This high-volume Emergency Department is equipped with interpretation services, radiology, social services, and transportation support . The unit caters to neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, and geriatrics , handling urgent and emergent cases daily .
