Qualifications

• 2 Years Experience as a Travel Nurse.
• Charge experience Required.
• Strong large/acute care experience.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in a surgical environment, including call shifts.
• Assure continuity of care during the assigned 13-week contract.
• Float to other rooms when needed.

Job Opportunities

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - CVOR

Shift: Days, 6:45a-3:15p, 8x5, 40hrs per week M-F, no weekends. On Call 2-3 times/month

Length: 13 weeks

Call expectations would be 1-2, 16 hours shifts (3p-7a) weekly, and a full weekend call every 4th weekend (3p Friday-7a Monday).

Requirements:

• NC License
• 2 Years Experience
• Charge experience Required
• Strong large/acute care Urology, Ortho, General Surgery OR RN
• BLS
• 3-5 years experience preferred
  
  

Skill Sets required:

• CABG on Bypass
• CABG Off Bypass
• Mitral Valve or Aortic Valve replacement
• Bentall
• Pulmonary Embolisms
• Balloon Pump and Impella
• Hybrid cases for TAVR
• Lung Cases | VATS/Thoracotomy procedures, Lobectomy, Decortication, Wedgy Biopsy
  
  

Other Details:

• Flexibility to float to other rooms when needed
• Total # of Unit Beds/Suites/Deliveries/Procedure Rooms: 12 OR’s and a Hybrid OR
• Total # of Cases/Day: 35-40 Call will be required, and call can be heavy.
