Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Open Heart specialty nurse opportunity in a healthcare organization. The position involves circulating in cardiovascular operating room procedures, with responsibilities including providing specialized patient care during complex cardiac surgeries. The role requires a dedicated and experienced professional to support a high-acuity surgical team.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shifts, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: RN licensure in Illinois, current CPR certification, 3+ years of core Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience as a Staff Nurse, Endovascular or Cardiac open heart experience preferred, and experience with Epic electronic medical record system.
• Preferred Qualifications: Ability to float to main Operating Room, scrub experience in CVOR, travel-proficient skills.
• Additional Information: The assignment involves backfill coverage, with shifts that may include weekends and holidays as needed. On-call requirements include 3-4 shifts per month with a minimum 2-hour callback window, within 30 minutes of the facility.
