Job Details

• Location: Englewood, Colorado
• Shifts: Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the possibility of evening or night shifts as needed
• Schedule: Minimum of 40 hours per week, with additional call shifts (1-2 per week from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM) and weekend coverage (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays every 6th weekend)
• Required Qualifications: Minimum of 1-year current acute care hospital experience as a CVOR RN; open heart surgery experience; BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications; experience with Meditech electronic medical records; Level I and trauma experience preferred.
• Additional Qualifications: Prior Meditech experience, cardiovascular experience, and familiarity with procedures such as AVR (Aortic Valve Replacement), MVR (Mitral Valve Replacement), CABG (Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting), Bentall procedure, and dissection.
• Responsibilities include managing the operating room, assisting surgeons, monitoring vital signs, and providing pre‑ and post‑operative care.
• Candidate must be an effective team player with a high level of accountability and self‑direction.
